I saw these beanies in a shop in Lake Tahoe and was impressed with how fine the alpaca material felt and the neatness of the embroidery. I looked up the brand and it seemed legit and hence I placed an order directly with them as they were slightly less expensive online. Unfortunately the product I received feels very different - it’s thicker and does not feel as fine. Plus the embroidery is only on one side of the beanie and not as neat. The pom Pom at the top also is made of some plain black wool and not the fine alpaca threads that I remember seeing in the beanie in the store. The metal logo also looks old, discolored and feels rough to touch which was not the case in the store ones. I had high hopes from this brand, sadly disappointed with the online purchase for such expensive beanies. I am not sure if they have different qualities one for their store retailers and one for direct online business. I wish I had bought them in the store directly although they were priced higher. Attaching a few pics of the taupe and wine colors I bought.
